GRACE AND COMPETENCE MAKE THE GREAT, ACTIVATE GRACE FOR YOUR LIFTING

Experience and the life histories of people have made it clear to me as a lesson that grace has a bigger impact on our success in life. Most times it is not our competence and effort that prompt our movement from zero to hero. Though competence and effort are very vital forces for our success but grace is the game changer. The story of Olajumoke Orisaguna is a story that will motivate you to start acknowledging grace and to start doing things that can activate grace in our lives for your next level. OLAJUMOKE ORISAGUNA OR JUMOKE SUNDAY 

She  is a Nigerian model who came to notice when she appeared on the cover of a magazine before she was employed as a model. The story was reported in various media including CNN.

Olajumoke Orisaguna was born in 1989 and brought up in Ire in Osun state. She trained as a hairdresser where she met an artisan named Sunday Orisaguna. They married in about 2010 and they had two children. She travelled to Lagos with one of her children where she hoped to make more money selling bread. Her husband stayed behind with the other child where he worked installing sliding doors.

Whilst she was working in Lagos where was caught in the background of a photo shoot where the photographer, TY Bello only discovered her face later when the day's work was seen on social media. Bello had been photographing the British rapper Tinie Tempah and at the time she had been ambiguous about Orisaguna had walked into the photo shoot. She had asked her if it was OK to take her picture and she had been given a nod. In an attempt to find Orisaguna she arranged for her picture to appear on the cover of Style magazine

She was discovered and she was offered a modelling contract, internships and work, despite not speaking English. Her husband and her other child moved to Lagos to join in her good fortune. Her story and success after working hard as a model was reported as a role model.

According to CNN, she will be offered some education and a bank has offered to pay for her children to attend school.

HOW TO ACTIVATE GRACE

Grace is unmerited favour. It is divine help and kindness. It is grace that makes things work. Wherever things are working, it is grace. Grace is a gift. It is readily available to anyone who understand how to make work. If you acknowledge the source of grace and constantly do what attract it, you enjoy the benefit of grace. Grace is very beneficial to mankind. It makes things work well. The truth is the nothing is really free in this life. It has been declared in the Basic Instruction Before Living Earth (BIBLE) that seedtime and harvest time shall not cease. To activate grace you have a sacrificial mindset. This is a secret for drawing from the spirit of wealth creation. Wealth comes from the spirit world. And to draw wealth, you have to engage in feeding the spirit. The spirit of good work feed from good work. God has a spirit of good work while the devil has the spirit of bad work. God’s food is to see people in good life and in joy. The devil’s food is to see people in suffering and gnashing of teeth. So if you belong to God’s side and you continue to invest in good work, you are feeding God and you are activating the grace of God upon your life. Your joy is God’s delight and He wants you to bring joy and hope to the needy. If you really want to attract wealth, cultivate a heart of sacrifice. Before God blesses you, He searches your heart to see if your wealth will go for good cause. If He finds good cause in your heart, He will daze you with the favour for wealth creation. It is not of he the willeth, it is God that showeth mercy. That is the word from the book of wisdom-the Holy Bible. One can have all it takes to make wealth but when grace is not at work, that person will struggle eat well. It is not really in your expertise, it is grace that makes the big difference. Grace makes your expertise reward you bountifully. One without grace can work hard all his life and still be struggling to create eat but one with grace can work smart and attracts wealth with ease. You need to go into covenant with God for a good cause you will carry out for Him as He blesses you. You can start that good cause with the little you have today. God told Abraham; “I will bless you and make you a Blessing…” God is willing to bless those who will willingly be a blessing to others. It is pleases God to see the poor lifted. You can easily attract the grace of God if you are willing to support the poor. This is the secret of the wealth magnets all over the world. The principles of success are the same anywhere around the universe. This why Bill Gate, the founder of Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook and all the wealthy giants of the world are investing in charity and good causes. In December, 2015 Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Pricillia Chan through their Chan Zuckerberg Initiative pledge to give 99% of their share in Facebook for charity cause of advancing human potential and promoting equality around the globe. These great guys are putting the principles of grace activation in practice. The point is this; “I returned and saw under the sun that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise nor yet riches to men of understanding, time and chance and chance happeneth to them all”. This is worlds of the wisest kind that ever lived in Ecclesiastics chapter nine verse eleven. It is not always how good you are at your craft. It is the mixture of your expertise and grace ( unmerited favour) that makes people successful. So you need to go for both. Go for expertise and equally activate the grace that has been made available to us by God sacrifice of Jesus blood. You have to be a person of sacrifice as well. In  First John chapter three verse sixteen it is noted that; “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren”.
